What Deal Red Pen is

Deal Red Pen is an educational tool that estimates car purchase and lease math and flags items worth asking about. It is not financial, legal, tax or credit advice, and it is not a lender, dealer or broker.

Estimates only

Results depend on the numbers you enter or that are read from your photo, and on general-guidance thresholds you can edit. Photo reading can be wrong. Always verify figures with your lender, dealer and the final contract before signing.

Paid products

Full report ($29, one-time): unlocks every flag, the dollar impact and dealership scripts on the device used to purchase. F&I Manager Review ($79): a personal written opinion on the quote you submit, delivered by email within 24 hours of receiving your documents. Reviews are opinions for educational purposes; you make your own decisions.

Payments; all sales final

Payments are processed by Stripe. All sales are final. Digital reports are delivered instantly and are non-refundable. The F&I Manager Review is delivered by email within 24 hours of receiving your documents. If your report doesn't unlock after payment, email your Stripe receipt to dealredpen@gmail.com and we'll send your report. [Attorney to review this policy and any state consumer-law requirements.]

Your responsibilities

Only upload documents you have the right to share, and black out sensitive numbers (SSN, driver's license, account numbers). Don't misuse the service.

No warranty; limitation of liability
